Our founder, Masao Saeki, returned to Japan from Manchuria. Keenly aware of the severe domestic food situation, he recognized the need to support agriculture for increased food production. He resolved to personally support agriculture.
Oct. 1949
Masao Saeki established Mikasa Sangyo Co., Ltd. with capital of 500,000 yen in Shimizu, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and began sales of agricultural chemicals and agricultural materials.

Established Yanai Sales Office in Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Built Ogori Plant in Ogori Town, Yoshiki District, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and began production of agricultural chemicals.
